Three orphanages coming up in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 15 (UNI) The Centre has agreed to a Jammu and Kashmir government's proposal to establish three new orphanage centres in the Valley with modern hygienic, recreational and other facilities.
State Social Welfare Minister Haji Nissar Ali said last evening that the new centres would provide suitable abode to orphans from different parts of Kashmir.
Haji Ali said the central government has already approved the proposal in this regard.
The Minister directed the concerned officials to identify the sites for the orphanage centres within two days so that the work could be started at the earliest.
