Stipend for PGIMS, Rohtak interns increased
Chandigarh, May 15 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to enhance the stipend of interns of Pt B D Sharma Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak from Rs 3000 to Rs 4500 per month.
Also, internship allowance of students of the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) of Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra has been increased from Rs 1200 to Rs 2000 per month with immediate effect, Health Minister Kartar Devi said here today.
She expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for being considerate to the needs of the students of both prestigious institutes of the State.
This decision would encourage the students, she added.
