''Sanjay has no knowledge about the Front'': Dutt's lawyer

Mumbai, May 15 (UNI) Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who has been held guilty by the TADA court under the Arms Act, today dissociated himself from the newly-formed political outfit, Dalit and Muslims United Front (DMUF).

This was revealed by Dutt's Lawyer Farhana Shah who, while speaking to UNI said '' Let alone Sanjay Dutt, even I am unaware of the formation of any such political formation''.

One of the 1993 serial blasts case accused, Mustafa Dossa alias Mustafa Majnoo had yesterday announced the formation of the DMUF to bring together the 'victims of state oppression at one single political forum.

Announcing the formation of the Front, Mustafa's lawyer Shahid Azmi had claimed that all those convicted as well as acquitted by the court had extended their support to the the Front.

Of the 123 accused who faced trial in the 1993 serial blasts case, 23 were let off by the court while 100 have been held guilty and awaiting quantum of sentence by the TADA Court.

Mustafa is accused of participating in the conspiracy, and distributing arms and RDX, which landed at Maharashtra's coasts to the other accused, to wreak havoc in Mumbai in 1993.

Extradited from Dubai in 2003, Mustafa is facing a separate trial in the court, after his plea of clubbing his case with that of other accused was turned down by the apex court.
