Prisoner hangs himself in AP jail

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, May 15 (UNI) A prisoner, undergoing life imprisonment in the Warangal Central Prison, allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his prison room early today.

Police said R Inna Reddy (50), convicted for murdering his wife, hanged himself with a towel in the prison. Reddy, who was absconding for the last 17 years after he was released on parole, was caught in Hyderabad three days ago.

Reddy had married another woman and was residing in Hyderabad.
