One more arrested for attacking Dinakaran on May 9

Madurai, May 15 (UNI) Police today arrested one more person in connection with the attack on office of the Tamil Daily Dinakaran here on May 9.

Police said, the arrested, identified as 'Pandi alias Attack Pandi', and a key accused in the crime, wanted by the police at Othakkadai near here.

Later he was remanded to Judicial custody till May 24.

Earlier, six persons were arrested in connection with the case.

In the attack, three employees were killed, besides the office of the newspaper being ransacked.

The attack was in protest against a survey published by the newspaper showing DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's elder son M K Azhagiri in poor light.
