Mortar bombs recovered in Poonch district

Jammu, May 15 (UNI) Security forces have recovered a cache comprising four mortar bombs wrapped in polythene hidden under a boulder near a nullah in Surankote tehsil of Poonch district, an official spokesman said today.

The spokesman said acting on a tip-off, army troops recovered a cache at Aakhorpathri, 8 km east of Surankote town.

Besides mortar bombs, six bomb fuses, one mine and three switch pens were recovered, he added.
