Mysore, May 15 (UNI) The temporary employees of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) today threatened to commit mass suicide if the Vice Chancellor fails to honour the orders of the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to reinstate them.

Talking to newsmen here, KSOU Employees Union President Rajashekara said that "the Vice Chancellor would be responsible for their deaths." He said that the Association members would be meeting the Chief Minister in Bangalore within two days and explain the plight despite his order and demand regularisation with revised pay scales.

Stating that there was nothing wrong in the Chief Minister ordering reinstatement of the employees, Mr Rajasekhar alleged that the politicians are twisting the issue for their own benefit.
