Isolated rains over north coastal AP

Hyderabad, May 15 (UNI) Isolated rain occurred over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana while the weather was dry over Rayalaseema.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded were: Ichapuram and Patapatnam 3 cm each, and Mandasa, Tekkali and Veeraghattam 2 cm each, according to weather office here today.

The maximum temperature rose significantly at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose at one or two places over Rayalaseema and changed little over Telangana yesterday.

It was significantly above normal at a few places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over Telangana and Rayalaseema.

The highest maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rentachintala and Vijayawada.
