Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42 deg. celsius

Bangalore, Mar 15 (UNI) Followingis a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka.

Maximum temperatures fell at many places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.
