Hyderabad, May 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today ordered the municipal authorities to transfer all the town planning staff, who had completed two years of service in the municipalities falling within Greater Hyderabad, within a week.

The Chief Minister took serious note of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths unearthing Rs 80 lakhs in cash, a kilogram of gold and properties worth several crores during their raids on the office and residence of Rama Narasimhaiah, a Town Planner working in the Kukatpalli Municipality in Greater Hyderabad.

Dr Reddy directed the authorities to issue the transfer orders within a week and that they should not allow interference of any one, however big, or any recommendation to stop the transfers.

Officials sources said once the transfers were effected in the Greater Hyderabad area, the policy of transferring all those, who had completed two years of service at a place, would be implemented in all the municipalities.
