Church priest shot at in Sangam Vihar
New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) A priest of a church was shot at by two people in Sangam Vihar area of South Delhi following a scuffle this afternoon.
Father George, who resides inside the St Vincent School campus in Sangam Vihar's 'L' Block, had a scuffle with two unidentified men when they tried to snatch his mobile phone at about 1230 hrs, said a senior police official.
He was shot at when the robbers allegedly could not overpower him and he raised an alarm.
The accused, who entered from the school gate, later fled in the nearby bushy area in the school vicinity.
George was later rushed to the Batra Hospital where the bullet was removed. His condition is said to be stable.
