Aviva launches Dhanvridhi with guaranteed return

Kolkata, May 15 (UNI) Aviva Life Insurance today announced the launch of Dhanvriddhi, an insurance product which offers a combination of savings cum protection plan with guaranteed return.

Speaking at a press conference, Aviva Life Insurance (India) Director (Marketing) Vivek Khanna said, ''Till now most of our product were traditional and unit linked insurance product (ULIP) but this plan will provide a flexible term with money back benefits,'' The policy provides a guaranteed addition of Rs 70 per thousand sum assured for every completed policy year. Another striking feature is that the policy also offers a payout of 20 per cent of the basic sum assured as a survival benefit at regular five year interval till the policy matures.

The policy also have an option of accidental death benefit rider.

The entry age of the policy is between 13-55, he said.

'' The minimum sum assured for this policy is Rs 50000 and the minimum annual premium is 5000,'' Mr Khanna said.

Aviva life insiance is 74:26 Joint Venture between Dabur and Aviva , the current paid up capital is Rs 758 Crores.

The company today made the first national launch of the product in the city as East is a thriving market with growth rate of 27-30 per cent.
