Vigilance chargesheets Puri Sub-Collector

Bhubaneswar, May 14 (UNI) The Vigilance has chargesheeted Puri Sub- Collector Bijaya Kumar Nayak for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs 5000 from Suresh Chandra Gouda for passing favourable order in a case.

A release from the Vigilance Directorate here today said on completion of investigation prima-facie evidence was established against the Orissa Administrative Service(OAS) officer, and the chargesheet was filed to stand his trial in the court of Law.

In another case, the Vigilance filed chargesheet against Revenue Inspector of Ganeswarpur Circle under Nimapara Tahasil Sarat Chandra Sahu and Sub-Inspector of Police, Baragarh Police Station, Bhubaneswar Om Bibek Pattnaik for accepting illegal gratification.
