Two youth killed

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, May 14 (UNI) Two youth were killed on the spot and four others received minor injuries, when a portion of mud caved in at Cherukumilli village in Gopalapuram mandal of West Godavari district today.

According to police the youth, Yeluri Venkata Rao (20) and Parimi Abhinash (16) along with some other agricultural labourers went to the Polavaram right canal this afternoon to collect mud. When they were engaged in digging the canal bund, suddenly, some mud caved in on them.

A case has been registered and investigation was underway, police added.
