Trade worth Rs 2,762 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) As many as 3,055 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) today participated in trade worth Rs 2,762 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs.

There were 90,957 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in jeera, guarseeds, pepper, sugar, chana and soya oil, said an NCDEX release.

On May 12, 578 members had participated in trading and put through more than 78,091 trades. The trade volume for the whole day, till 1400 hrs, was Rs 2,395 crore (one way). Active trades were high in jeera, guarseeds, pepper, chana, sugar and soya oil, the release added.
