Sun Technovate 07 to commemorate Sun's 25 years
Kolkata, May 14 (UNI) Sun Microsystems will organise Sun Technovate 2007, a two-day event to commemorate the company's 25 years and mobilise India's cutting edge potential and deliver critical success to its technology consumers.
A company's release said company's Co-founder and Chairman of Board of Directors Scott McNealy would kick off Sun Technovate '07 on May 17.
The two-day event would be attended by over 150 CxOs (CIOs, CFOs and CEOs) from various industry sectors, including telecom, BFSI, retail and manufacturing.
Scott continues as Chairman of Sun Microsystems and has assumed the role of Chairman of Sun Federal, Sun's operation that works with the federal government.
Sun's Director-Strategic Alliances&Teleweb Sales K P Unnikrishnan said, ''Sun is now poised for another 25 years of innovation, delivering new open, eco responsible network computing technologies to empower the people.'' During its 25 years in business, Sun has built a massive network of customers, partners, developers, employees, alumni and other advocates.
