Students Get 15 Marks For Tough Maths Papers
New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Maharashtra students who took Class X mathematics examination will get 15 marks each because of complaints about the difficulty levels of the question papers, Parliament was told today.
''Representations were received about the difficulty levels of the question papers,'' Minister of State for Human Resource Development M A A Fatmi siad in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
He said these pertained to Algebra and Geometry examination held by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on March 20-21.
After examining the representations it was decided to accord 15 marks each to all students, Fatmi said.
