Precious metals decline on poor demand

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Spot silver and gold declined today on poor demand in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said here.

Following are the opening rates of Spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,790, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,985, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,030.
