One more militant killed in Doda

Jammu, May 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today gunned down one militant who had been associated with Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit.

Two Hizbul Mujahideen(HM) militants had been killed by security forces yesterday, official sources said here.

SSP Doda Manohar Singh told UNI, district police started search operation acting on tip-off about presence of LeT militant at Panchaal under Doda police station.

During operation, an encounter took place in which the LeT militant, who is yet to be indentified, was eliminated. One AK 47 rifle, one magazine and 20 rounds were recovered from the possession of slain militant, he added.

One HM militant, Mohammad Amin alias Jahangir, was eliminated by the troops of 11 RR and police near Bhatta bridge in Marwah area of Doda yesterday.
