IIT-G final year student missing

Guwahati, May 14 (UNI) A final year student of IIT, Guwahati has been missing since May eight, official sources said here today.

A Public Relations Officer of the institute informed that Pramathesh Ramchiary, a final year student of the Computer Science Engineering Department, was missing since May eight.

The officer added that the student's father contacted the institute on May 11, being unable to contact his son.

Ramchiary was a resident of Borjhar in Asom.

'' We have lodged a missing person dairy at the Jalukbari police station, but no leads have been established as yet,'' he added.

The vacations have started in the IIT-G and most of the students have left the hostels.
