Guru Gobind Singh University awarded 'A' by NAAC
New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has been accredited with 'A Grade' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), making it the youngest university in India to get the honour.
The accreditation (institutional score between 85 per cent to 90 per cent), valid for a period of five years from March 31, 2007, was awarded after a peer team from NAAC visited the university from February 19 to 21 and prepared a report based on study of records during the visit.
The GGSIPU is perhaps the youngest university in the country to get this grade and that too in the tenure of its founder Vice Chancellor K K.
