Gulbarga records highest maximum temperature of 42.8 deg. celsius

Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures rose at many places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.8 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 36 degree celsius.
