Former RJD MLA Arrested in Gaya

Gaya, May 14(UNI) Former Rashtriya Janta Dal MLA Rajendra Yadav was today arrested in connection with several criminal cases.

Inspector General of Police,Operations, S K Bharadwaj said acting on a tip-off, the police raided the former MLA's house at Hohideeh village in the district and arrested him with his two supporters.

Mr Yadav was charged with several criminal cases like murder, kidnapping and arson at different places.

Incidentally, the accused had earlier fled from police custody in Gaya when he was being produced in the court in December last and since then has been at large.
