Fire at Manmad railway station, no casualties
Nasik, May 14 (UNI) A minor fire broke out at the Manmad railway station, about 60 km from here, last evening due to a short circuit.
There were no casualties.
The fire broke out at a diesel-filling facility on the station's platform number 6 at about 1930 hrs, creating chaos among passengers. All the six platforms were vacated immediately, sources said today.
The fire was extinguished within 25 minutes with the help of fire extinguishers available at the platform canteen.
As a result, the train services were affected for some time, sources added.
