AP: Court reserve orders on TRS MLA's bail plea

Hyderabad, May 14: A city court today reserved orders on the bail petition of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA K Lingaiah, who had surrendered before the police after his name figured in the sensational human trafficking case, for tomorrow.

After hearing the arguments of the petitioner's counsel and prosecution, the 12th Additional Metropolitan Magistrate reserved orders on the TRS MLA's bail petition.

The TRS MLA had surrendered before the police on April 27 after the Central Crime Station (CCS) police, probing the fake passport scam in the State, booked a case against him.

The accused had confessed that he had met Rasheed, one of the alleged kingpins in the human trafficking case who surrendered before the police on May 3, and received money from him. At present, Lingaiah was in judicial custody.
