Bhim Singh demands fresh polls in J

Srinagar, May 14 (UNI) National Panthers Party chairman Bhim Singh today sought immediate dissolution of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly to pave the way for fresh elections in the state.

Addressing a news conference here, he also urged the Hurriyat conference to take part in the next assembly elections in the state.

Prof Bhim Singh said lack of coordination among the coalition partners was not helping the cause of the people.

''For safeguarding the interests of the people, the assembly should immediately be dissolved to pave the way for fresh elections in the state,'' he said.

Prof Bhim Singh said the Hurriyat conference should participate in the assembly elections to pave the way for the final settlement of the contentious Kashmir issue.
