At least 10 killed in Russia cafe blast: Agencies
Moscow, May 14: At least 10 people were killed today in an explosion in a cafe in the Russian town of Orsk at the southern edge of the Ural mountains, Russian news agencies said.
Interfax news agency quoted an Emergencies Ministry spokesman as saying the cafe, located in the town's market complex, was completely destroyed by the blast that was followed by a fire that covered more than 150 sq. metres yesterday.
Itar-tass news agency quoted the spokesman, Viktor Beltsov, as saying at least 10 bodies had been recovered. It was not clear how many people had been in the cafe at the time of the explosion.
''The cause of the explosion is now being established,'' Interfax quoted him as saying.
