Arsonists torch Russian cafe, 10 dead
MOSCOW, May 14 (Reuters) Ten people died when arsonists set fire to a cafe in an industrial town in Russia's Urals region, Russia's prosecutor-general said in a statement today.
An explosion at midnight (2330 hrs IST) ripped through a cafe made from corrugated iron sheets in a market in the town of Orsk. It estroyed the cafe and set fire to the market.
The statement did not give any indication as to what motivation the arsonists could have had.
Orsk is an industrial city of around 250,000 people lying at the southern tip of the Ural mountains near the border with Kazakhstan.
