Air Chief to inaugurate seminar on aerospace power

Thiruvananthapuram, May 14 (UNI) IAF chief Air Chief Marshal F H Major will inaugurate a seminar on Aerospace Power in India's Strategy' at Southern Air Command Headquarters here tomorrow.

Senior defence officers and other delegates will also participate in the day-long deliberations, an official release said here today.

An interactive discussion on crucial defence related issues like 'Emerging Strategic Environment', Regional Security Dimensions' and 'Challenges from Pakistan' will be deliberated. The nature of modern warfare has undergone considerable changes over the years compelling the military analysts to evolve new strategies in the contemporary hi-tech environment, it said.

The seminar will also focus on military history, trends and developments in aerospace power in India's defence and security.

The one-day seminar is organised by Centre for Air Power Studies.
