20 members of inter-state gang arrested, arms, laptops seized

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) In a major swoop, police have arrested 20 members of an inter-state gang, operating across eight states, for their involvement in several high-profile robberies which included decamping with laptops, mobiles and branded garments.

Two country-made revolvers, cartridges and four knives were among several things recoverded from their possession along with ten laptops, 59 mobile phones and Reebok garments following their arrest yesterday, police said today.

The accused, aged between 20-40 years, were arrested in two raids carried out following a tip-off.

All the accused hail from the Indo-Nepal border on the Raxaul-Birgunj side in Bihar.
