Unbearable heat continues to torment city
Rajahmundry, May 13 (UNI) People in the city heaved a sigh of relief when the mercury slumped to three degree C from yesterday, recording 41 degree C.
Though the weather continued to be dry, blowing breeze on and off had relieved the residents to some extent, if not to a great extent.
Since it was week-end, people remained in the closed doors, besides settling down in cinema halls and other airconditioned places.
Roads in the afternoon wore a deserted look and people were seen moving to the nearest trees for respite from the heat.
