Two policemen suspended in Reliancefresh attack in J'khand
Ranchi, May 13 (UNI) Jharkhand government today suspended two policemen for their alleged negligence in duty during an attack on Reliancefresh outlets in various parts of city.
Enraged vegetables vendors attacked the outlets of Reliancefresh located in different areas in the city yesterday.
The agitated vegetable sellers alleged that outlets were damaging traditional vegetable market by providing vegetables at lower rates and later ransacked the outlet at the Morhabadi area.
Chief Minister Madhu Koda had ordered an inquiry into the matter and two Assistant Sub-inspectors Fanibhushan and Bhola Shanker from Lalpur and Bariatu police stations respectively were suspended in this connection.
Police had to resort to lathi charge to control them and 13 people were detained in this connection.
Presently, about three outlets of Reliancefresh are functional in the state capital located in Bahu Bazar, Morhabadi and Lalpur area.
