Two Pakistani among three militants arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 13 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police and the Army, in a joint operation, arrested three militants, including two from Pakistan, from across Kashmir yesterday, police said today.
Police and 6 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) arrested two Pakistani militants of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), identified as Akther Saleem, a resident of Lahore, and Mohammad Yaseen, a resident Sialkot, from Daril forests in Vilgam.
Two AK 56 rifles, four magazines, 120 rounds of ammunition, one wireless set with antenna, two hand grenades and two UBGLs were seized from their possession.
In a search operation after encounter at Sangran Pati Warsun and Dard Hari, security forces seized four AK 47 rifles, 12 magazines, 249 rounds of ammunition and two hand grenades from the site.
One AK 47 rifle, four magazines, 120 rounds of ammunition and one pouch were seized from the possession of Bilal Ahmad Mir, a resident of Nizampora Kangan.
