Three killed, 20 injured in road accidents

Hyderabad, May 13 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot and 20 others injured in two separate road accidents in Kurnool and Medak districts in the State today.

Police said the mishap occurred when a car in which they were travelling from Hyderabad to Sanga Reddy, collided with a lorry near Pragnapur village in Medak district.

In another accident 20 people were injured, five of them seriously, when a State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus hit a bridge and fell in a gorge near Kurnool town.

The RTC bus, proceeding from Kurnool to Gajwel in Mahabbob Nagar district met with the accident when the driver lost control over it.

The injured were rushed to Kurnool government hospital.
