Third admin reshuffle in Chhattisgarh within fortnight

Raipur, May 13 (UNI) Effecting the third administrative reshuffle within a fortnight, the Chhattisgarh government has modified the charges held by seven secretary-level IAS officers.

According to a General Administration Department order issued late last evening, Secretary (Public Health Engineering and Labour) and Commissioner (Labour) Narayan Singh was shifted to Cooperatives while the Governor's Secretary and Secretary (Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare) P C Dalei was divested of Cooperatives and given additional charge of PHE.

Mr P Ramesh Kumar, a West Bengal cadre officer on deputation, was made Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) replacing Mr B L Agarwal who became Secretary (Labour) and was given additional charge of Commissioner (Labour).

Secretary (School Education) C K Khaitan was moved to Village Industry but would also continue as Secretary (Urban Development) while Secretary (Village Industry) Nandkumar -- of Maharashtra cadre -- was shifted to School Education.

Mr Nandkumar would continue as Secretary (General Administration and Information Commission), Member Secretary (State Literacy Mission) and Director (State Educational Research and Training Council). Director (Tribal Welfare) Manoj Kumar Pingua was given additional charge as Managing Director (State Warehousing Corporation).
