Strides Arcolab sets up $30 mn facility in Brazil
New Delhi, May 13: Pharma company Strides Arcolab's subsidiary Cellofarm has set up a sterile injectable facility in Brazil at an investment of million.
Mr Elcemar Almeida, who heads the Latin American Operations, stated, ''This facility is an important expansion strategy for both the Brazilian operations and Strides group.'' The state-of-the-art-facility for Penems and Penicillins at Rio de Janeiro, will become a global site for the Strides group's growing sterile business.
''We are confident that the Brazilian operations will continue to play a significant role in the Strides growth strategy,'' he said in a statement.
