Six of a family killed in road accident

Bangalore, May 13 (UNI) Six people of a family, including two children, were killed and another seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Talaguppa in Sagar taluk in Shimoga district this afternoon.

Police said, while four died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.

They were returning to Bangalore after a picnic to the world-famous Jog Falls.

The injured was admitted to the government hospital in Shimoga.
