Road blockade after accident

Gaya, May 13 (UNI) Enraged over the killing of a person, local residents blocked the movement of traffic near Kandi village on Patna-Gaya road in the district today.

Police said that one Sadhu Chaudhary died on the spot when he was hit by a speeding tractor. The incident took place when the victim was on way to Chakand from Kandi village.

Agitated over the incident, locals blocked the movement of traffic on Patna-Gaya road for more than five hours demanding compensation for the victim. The blockade was lifted following the intervention of the police.
