Punjab cops get US Taser guns to stun criminals

Phagwara May 13(UNI) Punjab Police has succeeded to get USA made "Taser Guns" to 'stun' the criminals without bloodshed.

Police Sources told UNI here today that when the cops will o fire a shot from this gun, the target will be hit by current-like waves, which would stun him for about five miniutes and the police would be able to nab hardcore criminals even in crowds without spilling any blood or endangering innocent lives.

The acquisition of these special guns was a part of plan to modernise and equip the police with ultra modern weapons to curb the crime and criminals, the sources said.
