No repite from heat wave conditions

Vijayawada, May 13 (UNI) The people of the city had no repreive from the oppressive heat wave conditions even as the maximum temperature dipped to 41 deg C from 43.2 deg C recorded yesterday.

A MET official told UNI here that the minimum temperature recorded was 28.4 deg C.

The city and the arterial roads wore a deserted look as the residents preferred to stay indoors.

The temperature was likely to go up further tomorrow, the official added.
