Minor raped, slain in MP capital

Bhopal, May 13 (UNI) A nine-year-old was raped and murdered today in the local Kargil Nagar area.

''The body was found this afternoon in the bathroom of the victim's home. Preliminary investigation confirmed rape and the body was sent for postmortem. The girl's mother is suspecting the father of the crime,'' said Superintendent of Police Anant Kumar Singh.

The 30-year-old mother was married about one-and-a-half decades back. The couple now has three daughters and a son.
