Dubai: Indian engineer's body discovered in the sea

Dubai, May 13: The body of a 36-year-old Indian engineer was found floating beside an Indian Shipping Corporation oil tanker berthed at Dubai Dry Docks, police said today.

Benny George's body was discovered in the sea next to the Angneswar oil tanker following extensive searches, 7 Days reported.

His wife Sini, who lived on board the vessel with their five-year-old daughter, said she saw her husband for the last time on Friday morning when he left for the engine room.

Police are investigating into the mysterious death. The body has been sent to the mortuary and tests are being carried out to determine the cause of the death.
