Government official arrested for accepting bribe

Hyderabad, May 13 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today trapped Superintendent of Directorate of Works Accounts when he was accepting Rs 5000 as bribe from a complainant in the city.

According to an official release here, the ACB officials arrested B Ramana Rao for accepting bribe to do an official favour, and the officials seized the tainted amount from him.

Mr Rao was later sent to judicial custody.
