Five sheeps killed by stray dogs

Mysore, May 13 (UNI) Five sheep were killed when stray dogs attacked them at Lakshmipura village near here today.

Police said that six dogs attacked a herd of 10 sheep in front their owner Ramanna's house. Even before the owner could rise an alarm the dogs killed five sheep while the remaining sustained severe bites.

The incident of dog attack continuing despite authorities taking several measure to vaccinate them. It may be recalled here that a four year old boy was killed by dogs at Ramanagar in Bangalore rural district just two days back.
