Five charred to death in car-lorry collision

Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, May 13 (UNI) Five people, including three women, were charred to death when a car in which they were travelling caught fire after colliding with a lorry at Sathanur near Ulundoorpet in the district this evening.

Police said the bodies were burned beyond recognition.

The lorry was proceeding from Chennai to Thiruchirapalli while the car was going from Thiruchirapalli to Chennai when the accident occurred, police added.
