Dubai-returned man slain

Mandsaur, MP, May 13 (UNI) Three people -- including the wife of the deceased -- have been arrested following the murder of a man who was killed soon after a two-year stint in Dubai, police said.

One accused is absconding. Local resident Sunita was furious with her husband Rajkumar Bhagnani as he used to make inquiries about her over telephone. Sunita, her younger sister Shanu's Jaipur-resident paramour Dinesh Sharma and an acquaintance Ramu murdered Rajkumar on the intervening night of May 3 and 4 and dumped the corpse in a nearby isolated area. Rajkumar had returned on May 3.

Sunita mixed 'bhang' (cannabis) in sugarcane juice and her husband fainted after consuming it. The accused then strangled Rajkumar. Sunita had tempted Dinesh into becoming an accomplice with the offer that she would allow him to have a live-in relationship with Shanu. Ramu, who was promised Rs 40,000, was absconding.
