CPI(M) critisize Congress-led UPA government

Purulia, May 13: CITU president Shyamal Chakraborty and Mr Basudeb Acharia, MP, have come down heavily on the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre for lacking any definite principle for the farmers and workers.

In a CITU convention here yesterday, both leaders equated the UPA government to that of the previous BJP-led NDA government.

They claimed that like never before working class members were enlisting themselves in the trade unions because of the increasing awareness.

The leaders vouched for industrialisation in farm land for bettering standard of living.

'' Villagers of Singur and Nandigram will realise the true picture of industrialisation in future, '' they iterated and lambasted the Opposition for hindering the process of industrialisation.
