Clash between members of two marriage processions

Vadodara, May 13 (UNI) Members of two marriage processions resorted to stone pelting at each other over a minor issue at the Panigate area here early today.

Police said two marriage processions had been taken out in the Panigate area late last evening but the dispute arose over who should give way.

Following this, the members of the two groups resorted to stone pelting at each other around 0130 hs today.

Police rushed to the spot and burst 21 tear-gas shells to quell the mob. Police also fired in the air. Two policemen were also injured in theincident, Panigate police inspector Vijay told UNI
