CITC gets NBA accredition

Anand, May 13 (UNI) The Charotar Institute of Technology Changa (CITC) here has received accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for its electronics and communication and mechanical engineering programs.

Recently at its 40th meeting, the NBA accredited two programs - mechanical engineering and electronics and communication engineering of Charotar Institute of Technology, Changa.

National Board of Accreditation is constituted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to periodically conduct evaluation of technical institutions on the basis of guidelines and norms specified by AICTE. After rigorous assessment and checking of various details like quality of teaching, infrastructural development, faculty, student ratio, financial resources, human resources and teaching, among others, accreditation is given for the period of three years.

Charotar Institute of Technology, Changa has become the only self-financed institution in Gujarat to get NBA accreditation. CITC is also an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute.
