'Aerosmith' to rock Bangalore

Bangalore, May 13 (UNI) It would be rocking time again in the city when music lovers congregate at the Palace Grounds on June 2 to witness the concert by Aerosmith, 'the greatest band in the history of rock and roll'.

The 'Bad Boys from Boston' would be in Bangalore as part of their ''Greatest Hits 2007 World Tour'' and the event is being organised by Royal Challenge in partnership with DNA Networks.

In their first ever concert in India, the group would be in non stop action for the two-hour-long concert, a release said.

The tickets have been priced at Rs 1,800 and Rs 1,200 with fans having multiple options to purchase tickets.

The legendary Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer would perform some of the best compositions from the band's 33 year history, including Looks Like a Lady, Livin' on the edge, Walk this Way, Sweet Emotion, Falling in Love, I Don't want to miss a thing, Crazy, Angel, Dream On and Janie got a gun.'' Founded in 1973, 'Aerosmith' had been performing as the original line up for the past 34 years. The group's musical evolution over the years had made them major innovators in American hard rock, pop, glam, blues and rap.

The India concert is part of Aerosmith's 2007 World Tour. Kicked off on April 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Apart from India, the band would also perform in United Arab Emirates for the first time ever.
